The short version
Delete your account from the Profile screen in the app, or email us to do it for you. Either way, your profile, rounds, stats, friends list, and photo are permanently removed.
Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app
This is the fastest way and removes everything immediately. The app applies to iOS, Android, and the web version.
- Open Dirty Chains CTP and make sure you're signed in to the account you want to delete.
- Tap the Profile tab (bottom of the screen).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation, then confirm. Your data is removed and you're returned to the app as an anonymous guest.
Note on subscriptions. Deleting your account does not cancel a paid Premium subscription, because billing is handled by Apple or Google — not by us. Cancel separately under Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on iOS, or Google Play → Subscriptions on Android.
Option 2 — Request deletion (no app needed)
Can't get into the app, already uninstalled it, or just prefer we handle it? Email us and we'll delete your account and data for you.
- Email administrator@lazydogapps.com from the email address tied to your account, if you have one.
- Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request — Dirty Chains CTP."
- Tell us the display name and sign-in method (Apple, Google, email, or guest) you used, so we can find the right account.
- We'll confirm by reply, verify ownership, and complete the deletion.
Verification. To protect your data, we may ask a question only the account owner could answer before deleting. We will never ask for your password — we don't have access to it, and you should never send it.
What gets deleted
Whether you delete in the app or by request, we permanently remove:
- Your user profile and authentication record (Apple / Google / email identity)
- Your display name, optional PDGA number, and profile photo
- All of your round history, scores, and statistics
- Your achievements and badge progress
- Your friends list — and your entry is removed from other players' lists
- Your leaderboard entries
What we keep (and why)
We aim to leave nothing behind. The only things that may persist:
- Shared round records. A round you played with others belongs to the whole group. Your personal data is removed from it, but the round itself may remain for the other players, with your slot anonymized.
- Routine backups. Encrypted system backups may briefly retain residual copies, which age out automatically on the normal backup cycle.
- Legal minimums. If we're ever legally required to retain a specific record, we keep only that record for only as long as the law requires — never for marketing.
We do not sell or share your personal data, before or after deletion.
How long it takes
In-app deletion is immediate. Email requests are completed promptly after we verify ownership — typically within a few days and no later than 30 days. Residual backup copies age out within the normal backup retention window after that.
This can't be undone. Deletion is permanent. There's no "restore." If you just want a break, you can simply sign out.
